Rossalin pounded the ground with her front paws when the small pup approached her, wagging her tail above her raised rear end. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as she panted rom excitement, brilliant violety eyes shining happily. Again, she hadn't meant to seem like she was ignoring the alpha, but she has heard his permission to stay. That with the combination of the pups in front of her had her too excited to reply. "Hi!" she said back to Melodi with a bit of a bark clipping it short.
The silvery lavender wolfess was about to start playing around with the pup when Rosie called it back to her. With a bit of a whimper, Ross stood back up and wagged her tail slowly, staring at the little fey pup by her mother's feet with a yearning. She wanted to play, very much so. And pups were more fun to play with! Though, one had to be careful that their size didn't cause them to hurt the poor little things. But Rossalin was good about that, and so she would have no problem.. But why did Rosie have to call them away? The fey cocked her head and wagged her tail again, hoping she'd get to play with them later.
It was so hard to travel slower than he usually did, but being a parent required him to do so. And so, with two little dark females in his mouth and a dark little brute following behind him, Cloud walked slowly on his golden feet, glacing back to make sure the little Phantom didn't fall behind. The pup was jogging with small spurts of a sprint to keep up, panting wildly but otherwise looking happy and jaunty. It was odd the way he couldn't lower his nose for the pups in his mouth, needing to try and track Rosie's scent with nose in the air. Nothing of this was what he was used to, but he wasn't about to stop trying. No, that wouldn't suit him.
He wasn't sure where Rosie was going, as she hadn't told him but simply left the play area. Cloud wouldn't complain, though, because it really didn't matter. He had the skill to find the fey wherever she went on the mountain and new enought shortcuts to make his travel faster. However, with three pups on hand, the shortcuts were out of the question. Most of them were dangerous and hard to travel. He wouldn't even be able to hold the three pups and travel them, seeing as mosts were down practically sheer cliff faces. The brute just wasn't going to risk losing his grip on one of his children. No, Cloud would just have to go against everything that was him until his pups were able to travel with him on foot in skill.
On the edge of the Ice Pack, it was obvious that Rosie had gone to see Seg. Cloud stopped sniffing, knowing he'd be able to find her in the pack with no problem. Phantom spoke up, questioning his father betweew pants. "Where are we?" Cloud didn't anwer for a few minutes, not wanting to drop his two daughters or speak through their fur. To be honest, he didn't want to speak. Being a father was by far going to be the hardest task he'd face in his life...
Once fairly far into the pack lands, the black and gold brute set the two dark fems down and stared out at the landscape with his bright eerie golden eyes. "This is the Ice Pack," he said simply. The brute knew he couldn't just leave it at that, so he turned his neck to look into his son's red eyes, is own golden rather impressionsless as always. The pups definitely had more of their mother's spirit. That was, except for Carlotta. She was the most like her father, but with a rather dark aura about her. She even looked exactly like Cloud, with golden paws and eyes and a black base coat. "This is where you'll be living when you're not out with me." Cloud knew that Phantom wouldn't understand yet, but the brute wasn't about to stop his life just because he had pups. No, he would take them with him most of the time.
The dark brute's gaze lingered on his son for a moment before glancing at the other fey not mentioned yet. It was little Lodi. She looked exactly like her brother, Phantom, only with gold where he had red. It was odd when Cloud thought of their markings. He wasn't quite sure how the two pups had developed undercoats that differed from their black overcoat. Indeed, Phantom was all black with red legs that faded into a black coat, a hint of his red undercoat underneath. Lodi was the same, but gold. It gave the pups an odd shimmer when they moved, making them seem like they gave more motion than they really did.
Shrugging it off, Cloud took the two girls back in his jaws and set off toward the spot he heard a few voices from. He came up to the group, eyeing the lavender wolf before stopping and setting down the two females, Phantom coming up behind him and staying by his feet. The three pups glanced at Seg and Rossalin one at a time, but remained silent as did their father.
