She smiled and shrugged it off. She growled playfully at Dray and made a bite for his paw. Black Rain turned his back to the congregation. "Well, I'm sorry your father got hurt, but I'm not getting any more involved with this war. How are you, Dray?" He layed down in a soft spot of snow and watched Rei play with Dray. It was funny how the melded so well together even with their difference in age. Then again, both of them were still pup, in Black Rain's mind that is. His daughters were almost normal wolf size with lanky limbs and adult coats. Sol sat down next to her father and watched the congregation, trying to listen to what they were saying. She couldn't catch everything, but managed to get a few phrases out of the mess of talk...

Rei was relieved that this war had not effected her best friend. She bit back at Dray a few times, then rolled off into the snow laughing, tail flailing wildly. The snow was swept into the air in soft clouds. She stood up and the snow settled on her dark fur. Giggling, she managed some words.
