Chetala heard Kipcha reference the cat-dog duo of herself and the Margay draped on her back. The black-streaked, white wolfess looked up from her tending of the dragon. She saw the appearance of Seg, and Chetala's heart lifted. It was good to see him again. She trotted slowly over to the injured Seg. Her blue eyes glanced around quickly. Chetala gave a soft smile to the injured alpha. "Hey Seg. Remember us?"
Argo lifted his head. He was full grown now, but still only slightly larger than a domestic cat. He hadn't seen Seg sinse cubhood. The feline looked around, and spoke with a deep, worried tone. "Where is Dray?" Argo remembered playing with the big pup so long ago. Besides Chetala, Dray was probably the only friend Argo had ever made.
Chetala let Argo slide off of her back, and she gave a shake to re-fluff her fur. She glanced to the large black wolfess that had helped them fight. She gave a nod. "Thanks for your help back there, Kipcha. I'm Chetala, and this is Argo."
