But I think we need to show our civility. I have that Margay and wolfess taking care of the little thing. It's still young." She looked back at where the little duality had fallen. Hopefully it would pull through. The last thing she wanted was a severely injured dragon of the enemy going and complaining to its master. But Kipcha had other things on her mind. She looked down quietly. She wanted to know what the outcome of the battle on the Mountain, but she could not send the weary falcon perched on her wing on one more errand. Vala was exausted. But if on cue, a lean canine slinked agitatedly into the packland. She was ebony and dark gray, but she moved stiffly, and trickles of blood traced massive claw marks down her neck. The wolf/jackal femme spotted her mother, and limped slowly over. Her mind was on one thing-what she had just witnessed. But now she saw her mother. Her mismatched eyes gave a glare. Hayden folded her wings, and bumped her mother. "Hey mom, thanks for telling me that there was a WAR going on!" Hayden was probably the only creature who could talk to Kipcha like that, but Hayden was a little peeved. Hayden was so enthralled, she did not see Kage at first. Kipcha sighed slightly. "Sorry Hayden. You aren't exactly the easiest to locate."

Kipcha's eyes fell on Seg as he approached. The large ebony wolfess was about to express her concern, but she was cut off by a suddenly energized Aranel. The feline sprinted to Seg's side quickly. She lay down by him, examining his wounds. Forget healing blessing, a mother's love could help him heal. She turned her dark head and began to clean the fang wounds with her course, healing tongue.
