Black Rain turned to look at the vix with icy blue eyes reaching out for understanding. "Just because there have been wars in the past does not mean it's a good thing or that they should continue to happen. They are bred from greed and belligerence and waste life needlessly." Black Rains voice was reasoning and determined. "I did not witness the was of the past, but that's my point. They were in he past. Why should we continue to have war? Why can't we solve things other ways? Are we no better than the humans who destroy whole civilizations to achieve a victory in war? Are we to have a war whenever we want somehing or are angered?"
Black Rain shook his had and sighed. "No, we shouldn't be having this war! And, I would like to contradict your quoted : 'Really, it's only logical that Lestat would kill her if his goal is to take her place.' You see, this isn't true. You don't need to kill someone to have a victory. He could have taken all her lands and forced her exile or just force her surrender. No one needs to murder. There are ways around everything thing in life! There is no single approach to anything. If Lestat was and civilized creature, or worthy of respect for that matter, he would not have simply killed WSS! He is but a murderer and theif! Stealing and killing, is that what Bandido wants to support? Is that her goal?"
Black Rain glanced at DoD, just realizing she was there. His eyes softened at the sight of his entire life standing beore him. He wished she did not have to see him like this, persuading peace with strong words with his ear and the side of his face singed...
