The cat-faced ignored Niwah's words for the moment as he responded to Black Rain, "No. Not just anyone killed. Everyone fighting has the chance to die. And they know that before they fight. She will not stop because someone made a false step in battle. For example, your Lucien. Bandido is likely going to have Tellia try to keep him alive if she can help it. But it will not change the tides."
He frowned slightly, trying to figure things out. He certainly couldn't speak for the fox, but he could explain what he knew, "If someone close to Bandido is killed by Lestat, that will be her factor. For once again, she is not loyal to the collie, only an ally to Tazendre." Stalmardra paused briefly, "Lestat is bound to a phoenix to kill someone, or be killed himself. Bandido doesn't know who that someone is..." He trailed off, not knowing what Bandido would do if she found out who it was the collie planned to kill.
