Back in 1970, as a 12 year old in West Covina, California, I would often walk to my friend's house about a mile away off of Cameron Ave.
Along the way,I would frequently stop a a horse stable and visit two friendly horses who would always come greet me when they saw me coming.
As a huge Mr. Ed fan back then, I was surprised when my friend told me that Mr.Ed lives there.
Finally, on only one occasion, I saw him. There was little doubt it was him. His appearance was exactly like one would imagine.
He was not as friendly as the other two horses, however. He stared at me a few seconds and then appeared frightened or agitated. He scampered away and ran around the stable, kicking up a trail of dirt behind him.
I never saw him again.
I am also curious as to the value of the Mr Ed talking puppet that I recently discoverd I still had form the early sixtees.
I do not want to sell it, however.
