hello mike; i cant tell you why, but i hav always thought that lash larues horses name was black jack. it seems like i remember him calling his horse by that name,then to if you tell yourself something enough times say for fifty years,it becomes the truth.thst could be how it became black jack to me.anyway now you know all i know. jesse
