As of Memorial Day 2009, at least three different sellers on the Internet are now offering a homemade DVD of the full-color, 73-minute presentation of SNOWFIRE (1958):
"Tvtimemachine" (the original seller) offers the homemade DVD-R disc at http://www.oodle.com/view/Snowfire-1958/1253439113/usa/ for $7.99.
A new seller, "collectors_choice", has the disc for $5.99 plus $2.50 to $3.00 shipping at: http://www.ioffer.com/i/107714709
A third vendor, "windchime", is selling that disc for $8.00 plus $3.00 shipping at: http://www.ioffer.com/i/103073405
The DVD that you receive will be plain with no artwork in a white paper sleeve from any of the three vendors.
The source for all three DVD-R discs is a VHS tape recorded from a late night TV broadcast on Los Angeles TV "KABC-TV7" in the 1980s, so the image quality is the same as a VHS tape. However, you may be pleasantly surprised how good the movie looks. I give it at least a "B" grade or an "8" out of "10".
