For several months, at least three different sellers offered a homemade DVD of the identical full-color, 73-minute, late-night TV movie presentation of SNOWFIRE (1958) on the Internet.
As of April 11th, I only know of one vendor still selling SNOWFIRE (1958). "Tvtimemachine" is selling the homemade DVD-R disc through http://www.oodle.com/view/Snowfire-1958/1253439113/usa/ for $7.99.
The source for his DVD-R was that same VHS tape recorded from a late night TV broadcast on Los Angeles TV "KABC-TV7" in the 1980s, so the image quality is the same as a VHS tape. However, I was pleasantly surprised how good the movie looks, so I give it at least a "B" grade.
Just click on http://www.oodle.com/view/Snowfire-1958/1253439113/usa/ or surf to http://www.oodle.com and do a search for SNOWFIRE (1958). Once you are ready to reply to his advertisement, leave a message for the seller by clicking on the button marked "REPLY TO MY AD" in the upper right corner of the ad.
Let me know if you are unable to obtain a copy of SNOWFIRE and I'll search for other possibilities.
