Dear Pat,
Am a hugh fan of "the John Ford Stock Compant" of which your step-father was a part. Have been putting together a "book" on films for many years (over 35, since I was a teen) and of course have added Fred. Needless to say, not much info out there about him, which is too bad. Hope someday you can collect enough. Just a thought on one of the pictures you have posted on the website. The first one to the left, a 1949 John Wayne film, I would suggest you look at "The Fighting Kentuckian", the battle scene near the end of the film. It looks like the picture comes from that film. Good luck. I always enjoyed Fred in films.
