Hello:
I am trying to find out about the filming of the Frank Capra movie "Broadway Bill." The title character is a racehorse who drops dead from heart failure during a crucial race. The footage of the race is unnervingly convincing. I wonder whether they killed the horse for that sequence or just tripped him (but he stays down a long time). Have you ever seen any info on that horse? His screen credit gives the same name. Thanks for any information you can provide. It's a good movie, but that race sequence is creepy.
