You are right, Cochise was hamstrung and slashed along the neck. He along with my Thoroughbed Pat were killed. Mike Landon put up a $1500 reward along with the Humane Society's reward of $1,00 each horse. No one ever caught who it was. We do figure it was someone they knew as nobody on the ranch heard any commotion. We found the horses in the morning alive, but so badly injured we had to put the two of them down the other two horses survived.
