Sammy was in Charles Starrett's movies and also the horse of many colors in the Wizzard of Oz. He was owned and trained by James Shepard Torance and kept at the old Pickwick Stables in North Hollywood. If you can offer any information, pictures, stories, it would be of great help to the family.
