Mike...Yes, both Clayton Moore and Roy Rogers met and knew one another. Both SILVER and TRIGGER were owned by Ace Hudkins and they were stabled together.
I have family pictures which you can see on this site, with my Stepfather Fred Kennedy standing roman on TRIGGER, and my mother riding SILVER.
These were the original SILVER and TRIGGER movie stars.
