Interesting to read that Gene Autry had a palimino horse "El Morrocco." I have an old penny arcade card photo (the ones that sold for two cents at amusement parks) where Gene is posing with a palimino horse. I couldn't tell the year but apparently it was around 1940. That was the only time I saw Autry with this horse. You knew it wasn't Champion, but no name was given. Thanks for the update.
