They didn't move out west until Teddy finished high school, years later. I posted a blog on this somewhere else - can't remember. Like you, I'm outraged this has been lost to time. There were movie posters made with Jepsen's sculpture prominently displayed.

Actaully, he did the original statue years before moving west, when he and Kathy lived on Manchester Road in Birmingham, Michigan. Brighty was one of a number of sculpture commissions he did over the years, including for Cranbrook Institute.
