Hi,
I too fell in love with this film, but I saw the 1946 edition as a 10 year old lad, and I am not ashamed to say that I had a big lump in my throat, and tears in my eyes.
I have just ordered a copy of this film from www.wwvideos.com they are so I am told very good at finding rare films.
