In 1963 i bought a big red gelding at the L.A Horseand mule auction.What a great old horse.One day the shoer was out shoeing the horses and he said he recognized the horse as sport the horse that Pernel Roberts rode on Bonanza. The horse hac three white socks and an upsidedown champagne glass mark or his other leg. My kids and I had many good years with that old horse and we have lots of pictures, comic books movies etc. of him. I do know that George MOntgomery rode him in the western "Man from Gods COuntry" also.
