Posted by Sharon Wahana has some living descendants - through a granddaughter named Jumana Nawal (whose father was Wahana's son, Hanabu). As of Feb. 8, 2005, some descendants of Wahama are even listed for sale (in classified ads on the Arabian Horse Association's website, although you have to find them by tracing their pedigrees back to Wahana in the DataSource records). Imagine actually owning a horse related to the lovely Flicka!

The chestnut Arabian mare who starred as Flicka on TV was named Wahana. (Her registered name is incorrectly spelled on this website as Wahama.)
