Posted by Chris on 5/3/2007, 1:19 pm The principle of 'right division' is one that I have acknowledged and endeavoured to apply for some years now, but in was only recently that I saw the need of it in a crystal clear way. I had been reading something by Dr Bullinger about the way that the Bible had been divided by man with it's punctuation, verse and chapter breaks and so on, and that although breaks and points of reference make study so much easier, many of these man made divisions are a hindrance to truth and can hide or obstruct truth. I read this in 'How to Enjoy the Bible' by Dr Bullinger. Seeing this division by man, that it is not always 'Right Division' but a 'Wrong Division' helped me so much to have a clear understanding of the necessity to rightly divide the Word of God, and also gave the way of illustrating that need to those who have not heard of it before.
