I don't know what I am missing here, but I still can not see any place in scripture that gives us the timing of our resurrection whether in minutes, hours, or years. Col 3:3,4 does not give any indication of time between His appearing and our appearing with Him. He is our Head and we are His body. We are part of Him. "For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God." Now, the next verse says so plainly that "When Christ, Who IS our Life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory." Our life is hid in Him. He is our life. He appears. We also shall appear with Him. Where is the separation? Christ is in us and we are in Christ. He is our hope of glory. When He becomes all in all in eternity, we have no idea how the new earth and heaven and the holy city and the highest of heavens may be integrated or organized. I still can't see that His second coming has anything to do with our hope. I do not want to assume something that is not said. "When that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit (breath) of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming." Of course, Christ will put all enemies under His feet. The last to be destroyed is death. That does not happen at His second coming. God is almighty and there is no place that He can not be. i.e. He is omnipresent. I know we have covered this many times and I know your view. I just can't see scripture that clearly supports it. "In His times He will show"..."I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before Him". At any rate, we should just be thankful for our blessed hope whenever it will be. Lynn
