The first occurrence of the Greek word, "doxa" is in Matt. 4:8, "the devil taketh Him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth Him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them". Matt. 6:29 speaks of Solomon and all his glory. Matt. 19:28, "shall sit in the throne of His glory". Matt. 25:31, "the son of man shall come in all His glory". Jn. 1:14, we beheld His glory". Jn. 5:41-44 translates the word three times as "honour". Jn. 9:24, "give God the PRAISE". In short, I think the defintions you gave of the English word are in line with the Greek word "doxa". But none of those definitions imply that "glory" is a place. In Christ,
