Following from the previous thread on your discussions with Joyce and Lynn, I agree with Joyce that the epiphaneia and the parousia are events that occur at the same time. Saying "at the same time" I mean that the epiphaneia occurs first and the parousia after. What is the time span between the two? Well, As Colossians 3:4 states when Christ shall Phaneroo we shall phaneroo with Him. Now Christ is Phaneroo to whom? The epiphaneia is connected with His coming but its an event that takes place first whilst Christ is preparing for His parousia. As Christ is phaneroo with us to the principalities and powers in the heavenlies, His brightness and glorious appearance (epiphania) is manifested as he starts descending to earth for his bodily presence (parousia). This is briefly how I understand it, hoping that I made myself understood as I am penning this down quickly at an airport terminal. Will follow the thread at my arrival to my destination. Regards in Him John

Dear Chris
Where?
In a "place" called Glory.
To principalities and powers in the heavenlies, and we are phaneroo to them in reality at that time, as this is what Ephesians 1 tells us.
We are not there now but somehow we shall be there at the time of phaneroo to accomplish this witnessing to them, as at that time also there will be the realization of the unity of the Head and the Body.
