His elect, were very especially the children of Israel weren't they, but the other callings in the New Testament are called elect too. It is all brought under the heading of the 'Adoption'. Each calling has an adoption and are therefore 'elect'. Although to answer you properly I would have to go through the references to 'elect' and 'election' and maybe 'adoption' etc., again. This is interesting and I hope that either you have more input from others, or that you and I can perhaps pursue this individually and come back with out findings. Thank you for the question, it centres the mind on the subject and clarifies loose ends in the endeavour to make a reply.
