Ps 104:1,2 (future prophecy concerning Israel) The transfiguration Paul on road to Damascus Cal 1:12 1Tim 6:16 Luke 17:24 Yes, there is brightness and light and shining in the presence of the Lord, but His appearing in heavenly places is not the same event as His coming to meet the saints in the clouds before returning to earth. He obviously "appears" when He shows or manifests Himself, but these are two separate places and events for two separate groups.

Dear Joyce and Chris,
" O Lord my God"...Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment."
Isaiah 60:1-3
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and the gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to the light, and the kings to the "brightness" of thy rising.
Matt 17:1,2
And after six days, Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up unto a high mountain apart. And was transfigured before them: and His face did shine as the sun, and His raiment was white as the light.
Acts 9:3-5
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: and he fell to the earth...
Giving thanks unto the Father, Which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.
"Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man hath seen, nor can see"...
For as lightening, that lighteneth out of the part under heaven, shineth unto the other part of heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day.
