Your remaining verses have probably already found an interpretation, but you may find this helpful. Proverbs 20:30 Bruising is the body's normal response to local trauma or damage, it is the outward evidence of unseen unjury to a blood vessel. The blood which leaks from the injury rises to the surface of the skin and from there is dissipated. Similarly chastening or corrective punishment reveals makes one aware of the reveals the wrongness of an action, once revealed it can be repented of and forgiveness received. -------------- Job 15:35 - "Their belly prepareth deceit" (ie., their thoughts and desires) Pro 26:22 & 18:8 - "The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly." (ie., the innermost thoughts and feelings, moving them as the belly is actually moved by excitement) Joh 7:38 - "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." Here, "belly" is put for the innermost thoughts and feelings, and what the Scripture has said of this is written in Prov. 18:4:- " The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook." Rom 16:18 -" For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple." (ie., their own selves) Phi 3:18,19 "(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)" (ie., themselves, and what they can get) Tit 1:12 - "One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies." (ie., slow persons, who by reason of large eating, have grown stout and move slowly) In Christ Chris

Hello Robert,
The blueness (bruising) of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes the inward parts of the belly. (chastening or corrective punishment makes us aware of the wrongness of an action, it reveals it and shows the damage done by it- making repentance possible)
'BELLY' - is put for the heart or thoughts
Pro 20:27 - "The spirit of man is the candle" (or lamp: ie., light) "of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly." (ie., moving and influencing the thoughts and feelings, as the belly itself is moved)
------------------------------
THE BELLY is put for man, in respect of his eating
