Ha! I am the friend! I do think I can understand the meaning of one of them.
A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God. The powers that be are ordained by God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation....For he [the ruler or judge]is the minister of God to thee for good."
