Posted by Chris Great! I shall have a go, although maybe just one or two at a time. Proverbs 10:10 According to Strong's, the word 'winketh' espresses a (gesture with malice)- so whoever does so has malicous intent, and would therefore cause sorrow to the object of his malice. Whereas, 'a prating fool' , seems to indicate the speaking of vain words, that is, silly foolish conversation which is empty and shallow, having no value to the listener, he that talks in this fashion lacks wisdom and is heading for a fall. Proverbs 11:15 He that pledges himself on behalf of a stranger ( someone whose character is not known, whose financial standing or sincerity of purpose is unknown) shall be made to feel wretched because he could find himself bearing the responsibility for someone who does not honour his commitments, and having to pay out in order to honour the pledging of his word, because of the fecklessness of another. And he that turneth away from any form of committal of that nature is standing on firm ground. Those are my thoughts Robert, sorry to be so brief. Thank you again Robert
