Instead, the ever-present evil forces of this world have prevailed in making the Babylonian cross symbol common not only in the Word but in countless religious statues, pictures, necklaces, etc. As your selection of scriptures show, of all importance is Christ’s suffering and supreme sacrifice for the remission of sins of man.
