(Ex 28:2) The priest and his beautiful attire would be a type for Christ, the high priest. Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him? Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty. (Job 40:9-10) One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary. (Ps 96:5-6) In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people… (Is 28:5) He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly…Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. (Is 33:15, 17) And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. There are many excellent characteristics and qualities attributed to God’s image, Christ Jesus, by which we can better know Him. Most of the following scriptures focus on Christ’s glory and beauty, which we will behold in heavenly places:
