Posted by Chris on 9/7/2006, 10:22 am, in reply to "Re: Unity" Sorry to come back again, but I just wanted to quote the following verses, (Rom 8:15) For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. (2 Ti 1:7,8) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; I have found my mind beset by anxiety and fears of all sorts recently and they are quite unfounded, but 2 Timothy 1:7 has been a great deliverer. The mind is the battleground in these days, but He will keep (garrison - as with soldiers) our hearts and minds. (Phi 4:4-9) Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. In Christ Chris
