He was made a Steward (householder)also, of the things that had been revealed to him, and was given the task of instructing those who would hear and understand this further truth revealed only to Him. But unlike the 'householder' of the illustration in Matthew, he would be bringing out of his storehouse only what was new, because it was a new revelation that had been revealed to him, there was no reference he could make to the Old Testament scriptures. Like the Lord He too was rejected as was the truth He had made known.
