Posted by Chris on 7/30/2006, 5:23 am, in reply to "Re: The Latest Message" I am trying to think of the verses in the Old Testament that referr to the New Covenant and the atmosphere that will prevail then because they do mirror the attitude that was present during the acts. Acts 4:32,34 (Jer 32:39) And I will give them ONE HEART, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: (Eze 11:19) And I will give them ONE HEART and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: Both of these verses from the Old Testament have a future fulfilment I know, but yet were 'potentially' in place Acts period, weren't they. Just further thoughts Chris

Dear Lynn,
And the multitude of them that believed were of ONE HEART and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common.
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold.
