Gen 9:3 If Noah had continued as a vegetarian, he would have fallen short of what God intended for him. In fact, abstaining from meats today is connected with the doctrine of demons. 1 Tim 4:1-3 2. Another example is found when the Lord sent out the first group of disciples. He insructed them to take nothing with them. Matt 10:9,10 Luke 10:4 Later he changed these instructions."But now" changed it: Luke 22:36 If the disciples had refused to follow the command and tried to keep the former instructions, that would have been disobedience. 3. The Gentiles were to follow 4 laws during the Acts period. Acts 15:20 They also were to have "all things in common". Disobedience brought instant death: Acts 4:32,34 Ananias and his wife kept back part of the price of their land. They died as a result of it. [Acts 5:1-10] Why aren't people dropping dead today? The words "But now" occur many times in scripture. People have been very inattentive to the latest revelation and the result is a great lack. It is true that all scripture is for our understanding, but we must not neglect the latest unfolding of God's purposes. Eph 2:13-15

In most countries, the latest law is the one that is is force. So a new law may repeal an old law. There are some examples found in scripture:
And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.
But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that aught of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common.
Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold.
"But now" in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For He is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in His flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in Himself of twain one new man, so making peace.
