I use Ecchinacea whenever I feel I may be going down with a cold - and it works. But I was told that it can be quite hard on your system if you keep taking it when you are run down. True or false?
Lynn, the only time I've used my little blue box was when I treated myself after a bad fall - was too shocked to repertorise and administered arnica!!! I actually watched a huge egg on my knee disappear and no bruise appeared - until I got a pale and large yellow halo around my knee some 10 days later. I imagine it would have been quite a sight!

: Hello Lynne - fellow message boarder. I had a
: very bad cold and did a serious dose up
: with Echinacea and Berocca (Vit C and B)
: and honey and lemon drinks and it was
: really quick to go. Is she on Vit C or
: Echinacea. I took Echinacea very
: regularly. Do you use it, that was my
: first time using it properly now I'm
: converted.

: hello folks. I'm really excited - beginning
: to
: feel like a real homoeopath .I used a
: remedy from the little blue box and
: thought I'd let you know as this is maybe
: the kind of thing you share/ discuss in
: the study groups?
: O.K here are some details My daughter had had
: a really bad cold a few weeks ago. After
: about a week free from symptoms [her
: boyfriend had a cold during this period]
: she got very bunged up again. Her main
: complaint was that she felt she could not
: breathe as her nose was blocked. She also
: felt mucus drip down the back of her
: throat especially at night and this made
: her cough more. Unusually for her she was
: better indoors.
: After lengthy discussions about the nature of
: her mucus I repertorised using 3 rubrics
: and found KALI BICH was the most
: suitable remedy. It did relieve her
: blocked sinuses quickly and she felt so
: much better that the cough didn't bother
: her . She still had a bad cold but was not
: feeling ill with it. SHE took 3 x 30c.
: Has anyone else used this ?
