I mentioned this in another post over a week ago but have not heard from any member of this board. Honestly, I'm surprised. I thought it would be a good idea to send thank you letters to Tom Sarmento thanking him for all he has done the past 30+ years. This would include his work with the Dukes, other TV and movies, helping to keep the hobby alive with the Hazzard County stunt team, stunts shows at the DukesFest events, PSI, etc.
All you need do is email me a thank you letter/note for Tom at phinkle@cinci.rr.com and I will do the rest. I have designed stationary for these notes. I'll copy your letter/note onto the stationary and print it out.
I'm only collecting these until Saturday and then I'm putting whatever I have into a folder and mailing it to Tom. I have a few from another board but none at all from this board.
Please get a letter to me by Saturday. Tom is going to be surprised.
