makes some sense, but how does utep end up D1, dont they have less attendance than NMSU... and I know there are some of the big name D1's with low attendance numbers.. I saw a report the other day and I was shocked to see that Stanford (one of the proposed new D1's) is a fairly small school with less than 10k students
