Posted by CrimsonPrider Cal Poly had one win against a ranked team (while losing nine times) and that gets them a berth? I don't get it, and I never will get it. The NCAA is a self-obsessed, and worst of all, illogical organization that has done as much damage to college athletics as dishonest coaches, players and fans could ever THINK of doing. For instance, what is the point of punishing a program for wrongdoing AFTER the perps have skipped town? Why are some universities placed on pedestals (also known as the BCS) while others have to meet minimum attendance requirements in football to continue to have the "honor" of being considered second-rate? I have high hopes that the NCAA has lit a fuse with division 1 schools over the latter, and that the issue will blow up in their faces when the non-BCS conferences say "hey, NCAA, SHOVE IT!" Just two more years will tell the story. STILL BLEEDING CRIMSON! (and P.O'ed to boot)

Eastern Washington, which was ranked in the top 25 and had only two losses all season, was not invited to the tournament, making even the Aggies' snub pale by comparison.
