Sure, there were gaffes and missed chords, some timing (tempo) issues...and yes, perhaps some of you heard “tighter” groups” at Fantasy Camp. But these gentlemen stepped up and put the cash and the idea into motion. For Gods’ sake, have some respect for “balls”!
I don’t have a dime on either side here. I was fortunate enough to know Bob Shane for close to 50 years now...and he rarely makes a mistake.
I can’t speak for the crowd in Arlington, TX MTABOB, but the room they played here, (San Antonio)was to a “SOLD OUT” crowd, and as a guy who did this for a living for a few years, it was loud, they they clapped and sang along. They were HAPPY! Why would I make this shit up? So somebody posted some videos, WHOPEE!
Were you there? Can you refute this?
The guys are far from “PERFECT”. They have a lot to live up to. It’s hard tho, when you’re being ripped by your own fanbase.
SHAME! & MEAN!
If you met these three guys at a church function, or your local bar...whatever. You might actually like them. Tim & Mike are OK guys, and Bobby Haworth is a fine upstanding man & musician.
I told it as it was, and what I saw. I’m done.
I am off like a dirty shirt. I’m REALLY DONE!
I have a PODCAST to tend to.
TR - OUT!
