There are two days in every week which we should not worry about.
Two days which should be kept free of fear and apprehension.
One of these days is YESTERDAY.
Yeah, with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Even with all its glorious memories.
All the money in the world cannot bring back yesterday. Yesterday's gone.
The other day we shouldn't worry about is TOMORROW.
Even with its possible adversities, its burdens, or larger promise.
Either the sun will rise in glorious splendour or a mask of clouds, but you can be sure of one thing...
=> The Sun Will Rise
This leaves only one day >>> TODAY <<<
Any person can fight the battles of just one day. It is NOT the experience of TODAY that drives people mad.
It is the remorse and/or bitterness for something which happened YESTERDAY....
or sadly, the dread of what TOMORROW will bring.
Gotta love this song by Joan Baez & Jeffrey Shurtleff
(Live at Woodstock, 1969):
THEREFORE LIVE YOUR LIFE...ONE DAY AT A TIME
