Re: TV conspiracy against KT ?
Might I add that to a lesser extent I get the same feeling when someone raises a question that I parsed out extensively in my CV101 blog. esp. when I linked one of my articles multiple times at Xroads. Similar problem though - your site is really extensive and I have 230 articles/essays on CV101. We know what's there, but a comprehensive knowledge on either site among our friends just ain't gonna happen.
Thanks Jim. Or when I've posted something brand new, like a while back when I broke apart a long mp3 file into separate songs to make it easier to listen to, or combined a half dozen video clips of Bob, George and Bobby H. and posted it, and while I see about 100 views of the post, I only get two or three replies. A simple thanks for posting would be nice. But as you say, it is what it is (sic.)
Josh, unless someone reads every day all the time, we're all bound to miss something from time to time. When I posted it, it wasn't in a stand-alone post but as part of longer discussions, some of them with an interminable number of posts, some of them just insider poster-to-poster stuff.
I have no problem with re-posting anything and plan to do so again. I'm reminded of the frustrations that Rick would express from time to time when someone posted that they have found a "new" video or audio when Rick has had it up on FolkUSA for years. Just goes with the territory.
Sorry about that, Jim.
I was on that board for at least 15 years, and as God as my witness, I've never seen that article before. It's quite illuminating. Thanks.
A quick trip over there just now, and the first string reminds me of why I don't post anymore. Jeff needs to read the rules.
