There was indeed a pay-per-view NBJ show filmed in I believe Hartford, CT. Apparently never aired though. I can't even figure out how they would have done pay-per-view prior to 1967. As for the other shows, I saw something on TV recently about that kinescope technology and how so many of the films that were made just rotted away. That's probably what happened to those shows. But who knows?
Well, I don't know about the pay per view concert that could be lost, but with all the Steve Allen Shows from that era posted and all the Bell Telephone Hour shows posted, the KT ones have to exist.
Didn't they also do some sort of pay-per-view concert during the Stewart years? That would be a find.
Perhaps some of that stuff simply didn't survive?
KT appeared on the Steve Allen Show 02/07/63, they also appeared on the Bell Telephone Hour in 1959 with DG, this and other TV appearances I can't find to view, although many of the BTH and Steve Allen shows are on the internet so what gives?
