To be a great leader requires an empathetic understanding of man.
But to achieve leadership requires a person to be power-hungry and duplicitous.
Rare is a man's nature who can be so great and so small at the same time.
I bring up Napoleon's statement because I have discovered 2 things going on with people I know in my personal life,
and people whom I have "met" online and exchanged e-mails with over the years.
=> Greatness + Pettiness
Martin Luther King strikes me as somebody who was GREAT...but NOT PETTY.
What a shame friendships can be destroyed by misunderstandings or misgivings or half-truths....
or a lack of knowledge about what they "think" they know.
Martin Luther King
(January 15, 1929 - April 4, 1968)
