Posted by Judy Thank you in advance for your support. A Very Special Evening with Cheryl Wheeler Nationally renowned folk singer and songwriter Cheryl Wheeler, whose songs have been performed by Bette Midler, Dan Seals, and Maura OConnell, among others, will deliver a special performance on Friday, August 20th to celebrate Moveable Feasts 15th Anniversary. Ms. Wheeler, a Maryland native, has donated the performance, which will take place before 500 attendees at Center Stage. Ms. Wheelers musical range is broad, from gut-busting humor (Is it Peace or is it Prozac?), and vitriolic satire (Makes Good Sense to Me), to seamless adult pop (Does the Future Look Black?), and heart-breaking emotion (Further and Further Away). Her low-key, enlightened, and sometimes self-deprecating manner has made her one of the shining lights of todays folk music scene.
