Welcome.
Actually most likely why people do not come by here any more is that I have not updated this Website and the message board since it was intially created back in 2001
.
I have been lookinga and talking about updating the website and have all kinds of good ideas
to do it, but the truth is that it is a mayor undertaken 
.
For example they currently have much better message board than this. Where if you put a message in and old post. This post come up to the top of the list. I was also thinking of deviding it into seccion for issues on Methadone, either include it or separed issues of Bupernorphine I have a link to the doctors in Florida (even though the medication is difference, we have some very similar issues) and separate another seccion on Harm Reduction and Needles Exchange. Even a close private area for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment Staff. Why keep it closed? because for quite a long time their was a lot of mistrust and missinformation about treatment between patients and Staff. I know personally that I was quite angry. And I want to make available and area where Staff can learn and develope. Hopefully do not creat more myth like they did in Methadone and I surely do not want to antagonist them. Patients will have very good reason for being angry. Trust me I know, but I also know that staff will not improve their professinalist by nagging and giving them smartass responses (that they diserve), but I know it does not work. and it is very difficult for me to keep my cool. I have been to a few Methadone Conferences and I have difficulties. Frequently I come home with a sore toung form bitting it so much.
Any way, I also wanted to put a translator at least to spainsh and portugues into Englilsh. I now I had a message board in Spanish amd I had some results although most of the post where coming from Europe Spain and Portugal and I do not remember any of them from the United States and Latin America.
I have infact been carring floopy disk where I am recreating the Florida Methadone Site which I decided that rather than starting big
. Just creart one page with a lot of important links to orient new people and them start adding pages as issues come up.
But I think the message board need to comeup first, I just have to learn about the technical, structuring and profiling issues of the new Message Boards> I do not know if any of you have seen the ones from NAMA for the WatchDog. They have several separations of issues incluing OFF Topics.
I know that Florida is a very important state as it is trancient and many people move here, retire or come for vacation. The price has been getting really crazy. I do not know if it is true, but I have heard that the treatment center in Gainesville (whcich I thought was a private none profit) is charging $20 a day which it is crazy. I think that perhaps we need to get organized and get Obama to subsides methadone paying for all of the methadone dosages. Which is supper cheap. What drives up the price is the rent, treatment staff and the expences. Last time I checked in the RETAIL,not whole sale which still more cheaper. Methadone was running 1/2 a cent a milogram. So 100 milogramas raaly cost .50 cents. So when this treatment facility owners make a killing. On top of that they for the most part have a territory monopoly, because the State controls the number of methadone treatment facilities should exist in geographical areas. So in Miami for example I think their are 5 facilities own by two different organization. There is not much competition and not much choices but the same people. You have to drive a long time to go to a facility in Broward county. That is why their have been so much abused
by clinics and so little consumerism by patients

Well, maybe one day the will be Ideast whose time have come!! Whose treatment is it any way.
