Hi Everyone, I just wanted to stop by and say Hello and let everyone know that I finally made my move back to Florida. I am now living in Bonita Springs near the beach and I LOVE IT. It's good to be back but I am having a really hard time finding a good clinic near me. I'm now checking out the clinics on the east coast because I've had such a horrible time just guest dosing at the one I've been a guest at, I can only imagine what problems I would face as a regular patient and I cannot have that. It was a HUGE problem every time I went in just to guest dose so that leads me to believe that i may have all sorts of problems just transferring and getting on as a patient there and that thought terrifies me. All clinics have protocols in place for transfers but I can't get any straight answers out of anyone from this place.
They were as nice as they could be, I have no qualms about the way I was treated, it's just that each and every time I went in, there was "something" wrong and I had to wait and get this, I've been guest dosing there since October 8th. You'd think that they would have it down after seeing me a couple of times but each time I went, there was either "something wrong with the fax they rec'd from my clinic or either they claimed that they never rec'd a fax from my clinic" which was never the truth, i knew they had it because I know my clinic, they don't make too many mistakes and they certainly don't forget about someone who's out traveling and depending on guest dosing. It was just "always something. I had to wait over an hour and half the first time i went in to dose and missed my flight out of Atlanta and had to spend the night at the airport waiting to get another flight, now that was truly hard to take. It was just a really disheartening experience. the place was FULL of just total MASS CONFUSION. I've NEVER seen anything like it and it really makes me sad because they have 2 other clinics and they should have all of this "down pat" by now, you would think. I GUESS THE THING THAT MAKES ME THE SADDEST IS THAT 99% OF THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE THE NICEST PEOPLE I'VE MET. THEY TRULY ARE AND THE NURSES ARE VERY NICE TOO. IT'S HARD TO FIND THAT AT CLINICS.....
If anyone knows a really really good clinic within at least 125 miles from Bonita Springs, PLEASE EMAIL ME AND LET ME KNOW. I need to find one before the 21st of this month.
