i was wondering if there was a number to may patients rights advocacy help in florida. the clinic i go to is plagued with problems of the worst kind. staff members that bully you and hold your dose over your head to get you to do the things they want you to do. pleae believe me when i say i am not someone that is looking to whine and cry because i got in trouble for soenthing i did ie dirty urines etc. the truth is, ive been on the program for 4 years and i am topped out at the clinic i go to. i oam a phase 6 with take homes. its just that the way this lace operates in unbelieveable...example...2 ladies that gossip all over the place decided it would be funny to tell the head counselor that my friend was trafficing in the parking lot. my ffiend does not traffic. he lives with me and is sober just as i am. so he goes to dose..they stop him and tell him to see his counselor..they inform him that someone said he was trafficing and that was against the clinic policy and he was being admin detoxed. no proof...no rebuttal..no chance. this is not an isolated incident. when i spoke to my counselor about this she informed me in so many words..off the record..that this lady is "protected" and nothing can be done. o i want to do something on behalf pf all the wronged people that this clinic has ripped their lives apart.its ot like there is dozens of clinic and you can just go to the next one. so please if you know of any advacocy people i can trun to to start to do ..something..anything..to shed light on what is going on at river region human services...let me know. im the only one not scared to stand up and call this lady out. thank you guys...
