I guess we will see each other in New Orleans at the DPA conference. The Drug Policy Alliance sent me an application the end of September to go there too !
Back in the 80s'we lived in N.O. and went back for Mardi Gras almost every 2 years until Katrina.
There are a few people from NAMA going to the conference as well.Howard & Norma Lotsof, Donna Schoen,Beki Brooks and Barbra Finger from TexNama will be there.
NAMA is at the 2007 AATOD Conference now. It is in San Diego. I am glad I did not go to it since most of that part of California is on fire as I write this.
Skip and I have put up flyers about NAMa ,this web site ,namas web site and we have printed up pamphlets and put them in clinics about mmt ,stigma,pregnancy,relating to your counselors,how to talk to your Doctor when you are on methadone etc etc etc
We have also helped many people who call us up 24/7 on our phones at home and cell
However we do not know how to make a website but I could get a c/d that teaches me how to do it and give it a try.
We can talk about it more and bounce ideas off each other in New Orleans.
I know some great places to eat really close to the the hotel we all will be staying at.
There have been some BIG changes at NAMA . I do not know it all yet-will email you when I do
