what do u mean ''prettiest girl in the nieghbourhood''. u ever seen were carla comes from. it aint no ''neighbourhood''. carlas a real toff herself, probably from a higher class than nick who is i believe the son of hungarian immigrants. cant say's i know his parents background prior but carlas was ''pretty well to do''. if anything its a meeting of equals more or less i'd say. old money meeting new, privelege meeting merit or something like that.
